About

From Animation to Web Design

Portrait of the designer behind Therapy Design

I spent years as an animator, mostly on projects that existed to sell something. The work taught me a lot: visual storytelling, pacing, how to guide someone's eye exactly where it needs to go. But over time I wanted to put those skills toward something more personal.

Web design for therapists turned out to be exactly that. The same instincts apply: strong composition, choosing photos that feel honest, building pages that feel calm and welcoming. It's the same eye, just pointed at work I actually care about, and it's been a genuinely fresh start.

Why Design Matters for Therapists

Therapists deserve websites that feel like them, not a template that could belong to anyone. The right photo, a thoughtful layout, small details that put someone at ease: those are often what help a potential client feel safe enough to reach out.

Your website is usually the first impression someone gets of your practice. Good design isn't decoration, it's how your warmth and personality come through before a client ever meets you.

How I Like to Work

One-on-one with the person whose practice it is. I take the time to learn what makes you different, then build something that reflects it. Small business, personal work, real relationships suit me far better than anything I made before.
